This pen was handcrafted from a Beech tree that stood in front of the Admissions Building on Hillhouse Avenue. This was the first tree harvested for upcycling by Yale Bowls and the inspiration for preserving Yale trees with meaning. As it was collected in 2010 there are very few pens remaining. This tree holds special significance for many as it symbolizes entrance into Yale and opportunities into the future. These pens from this tree make fantastic gifts for anyone celebrating acceptance into Yale.
Pen also comes with a designer box and card describing the history of the Admission Beech tree.
