Benjamin Franklin and Pauli Murray Colleges

Prior to the construction of Benjamin Franklin and Pauli Murray Colleges, stood a series of maple trees that grew between the new buildings and the Yale Health Center.

To make way for the construction, these trees were removed and will likely be the only wood source from these Colleges for many years. Franklin and Murray Colleges welcomed their first students in 2017 and are home to 900 students.
