This pen is made from one of three 40 year old Pin Oak trees (Quercus palustris) that shaded the parking lot of the Yale Administration Building at 155 Whitney Avenue. The trees and the building were removed in 2010 to make way for construction of the new Yale School of Management.
Also includes a decorative box and card describing the history of the wood.
