Becton Engineering Maple #22

The bowl was hand-turned from one of several maple trees that grew along the stone wall of Grove Street Cemetery on Prospect Street . The trees grew across from the School of Engineering and its newly created Center for Engineering Innovation and Design in Becton. They were removed in 2012 as part of the landscaping in preparation for the two new Colleges. This is bowl #22 of the 28 bowls that will be crafted from this tree. This bowl is 9 3/4” in diameter and 4” high.

• Also includes a card describing the history of the tree’s location on campus.
