The bowl was hand-turned from a 35 year old Sweet Gum that grew on York Street between Jonathon Edwards College and Branford College and across the street from the University Theater and the Rose Alumni House. The tree died in 2014 and was cut down by the City of New Haven. This bowl is 5 3/4” in diameter and 3 3/4” high. This is bowl #20 of the 25 bowls that will be crafted from this tree.
